It gets a mid-life refresh with minor styling tweaks, more equipment, and an all-new interior. However, no changes have been made under the hood. Jeep has not revealed the price of the 2021 Compass facelift yet. However, we can expect the starting price to be at Rs 16 lakhs (ex-showroom). Talking about the price of the old Jeep Compass, it falls in the range of Rs 16.49 lakhs - Rs 24.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).

2021 Jeep Compass facelift retains the same silhouette and overall design language. The redesigned bumper with new fog lamps gives a sharper look to the SUV. In addition, it gets new LED projector headlamps thus replacing the dazzling headlamps. It also features LED DRLs. Instead of matte black, the plastic cladding is now body-colored. Towards the rear end, the 2021 Compass facelift gets new LED tail-lamps. At the sides, it features a new set of 5-spoke alloy wheels. Design bits like a seven-slat front grille and trapezoidal wheel arches have also been retained from its predecessor.

2021 Jeep Compass facelift gets a major change inside the cabin. The dashboard layout has been redesigned. It now comes with a metal accent that gives a wider appearance to the SUV. As for the interior color theme, the 2021 Compass facelift gets a dual-tone and full black theme instead of a ski-grey theme. The 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen infotainment system and a 3.5-inch customizable graphic information cluster have been replaced with a new floating 10.1-inch touchscreen unit and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. This new floating touchscreen has basically freed up space on the dashboard for a comprehensive design. The 2021 Compass facelift comes with Jeep’s signature UConnect-5 infotainment system that is now 5 times faster than its previous version. It runs on Android OS. One can easily interact with the vehicle remotely by using the app and can access features like the car’s health, location, stolen vehicle assist and driver’s analysis among many others. The new 10.25-inch 3D instrument cluster comes with more than 24 functionalities. The AC vents are now far sleeker than before. The center console has been moved slightly upwards for better accessibility. Instead of rotary dials, the SUV now gets a toggle switch to select various drive modes.
Talking about the climate-control panel, it has been made shorter and wider with storage space underneath. Also, it comes equipped with a wireless charging pad. Jeep has also added a lot of personalization options with the infotainment system, instrument cluster, and memory function for users. The SUV retains the panoramic sunroof from its predecessor. Another feature addition is the button-operated power liftgate for a better user experience. 2021 Compass facelift gets a few additional features for a better driving experience. These include the new 360-degree camera and the auto-hold feature.
Jeep Compass Old vs New: Engine Specifications
2021 Jeep Compass facelift will retain the powertrain options from its predecessor. It continues to draw power from 1.4-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine options. The 1.4-litre Multiair petrol unit generates a maximum power of 163 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The unit will be linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard along with 7-speed DCT as an option while the 2.0-litre diesel mill will produce 170 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. It will further be available with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard with a 9-speed automatic gearbox as an option. The new model will also retain the AWD option.
