The Avenger tag has been given to the cruiser motorcycles by Bajaj Auto. The design on the Avenger remains the same and is based on the previous generation. Street 180 is a special motorcycle for the Indian market and Bajaj itself as it has been the only bike that survived after the Yamaha Enticer. Even after having the same engine as the Pulsar 180, the Avenger has a completely different feel. Ride quality is very comfortable and gives an all-new riding experience for someone who is switching from a sports or a naked bike. The Avenger like all cruiser bikes is low with the seat height at 710mm. This is one of the reasons the bike is famous among people of all heights. Delivering comfort to the riders was the primary objective of the Avenger which was fulfilled by Bajaj Auto. While cruising at variable speeds, it is difficult for the pillion to stay stable at high speeds. This is why the backrest given for the pillion was such an attractive feature in the 180cc segment motorcycles.
