Droom is a completely performance-based marketplace which offers a 21st-century experience for buying and selling automobiles. There are no charges for creating a listing on Droom's online platform, and dealers can upload unlimited listings for free. Droom charges a selling service fee from dealers only after a transaction is completed successfully.
For ProSeller (auto dealers and automobile service providers), Droom offers a completely performance-based service fee model. That means sellers can use the Droom platform as much as they want, but pay only when they sell. Droom's Selling Service Fee for a ProSeller is a combined fee that includes a Take Rate, Listing Conversion Fee, Licensing Fee (only on selected categories), and Royalty Fee (only on selected categories). ProSellers pay this fee only on the successful sale of any of their listings. The 18% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is also applicable to the selling service fee. A ProSeller is liable to pay this fee only after successful completion of a transaction.
Take Rate is a fee that ProSellers pay on the successful completion of a transaction. It starts at 4% (excluding GST) of the selling price on the successful sale of a vehicle and 15% (excluding GST) for automobile services. The take rate may vary depending on the category.
Listing Conversion Fee is a fee that sellers pay, starting ₹9. It may vary depending upon the category and is applicable only on the transactions which are marked as complete on the Droom platform.
Licensing Fee applicable on the transactions where the sellers are using Droom's platform and services and are selling services like ECO inspection.
Royalty Fee is applicable on the transactions where the sellers are selling their products under the brand of Droom on Droom's platform, e.g. helmets, car perfumes and more.
Over the last decade, Droom has built the largest and most comprehensive digital ecosystem for automobiles in India. What began as a pure-play used vehicle marketplace is now a full-scale Mobility Super App, transforming how India buys, sells, rents, insures, finances, maintains, and plans everything around automobiles.
