Upcoming Hyundai Car Models

There are a plethora of Hyundai cars waiting to be unleashed in India. First of them will be the new-generation i20 hatchback which will be launched during the festive season in October-November 2020. The upcoming Hyundai cars also include the Ioniq electric car which was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Then, there is the Hyundai Creta 7-seater which has been seen several times as a test mule and it will be launched by mid 2021. The company is also readying a micro-SUV, codenamed as AX, which will be introduced by the end of 2021 to take on the likes of Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV100 and Tata HBX. The list doesn't end here as yet another Hyundai car will be arriving next year in the form of Palisade SUV.

Hyundai Discontinued Models

As with every manufacturer, Hyundai too has to phase out a plethora of cars throughout its journey in the Indian market. The most notable Hyundai cars discontinued in India are Eon, Getz and Sonata. As a matter of fact, the Santro too was axed in 2014 after serving for nearly 16 years since its debut in 1998. However, the company was quick to gauge the public sentiment and reintroduced the Santro in an all-new avatar four years later in 2018. Last but not the least, Hyundai Santa Fe was also phased out after a brief (and timid) outing in the Indian market.
