Tata Motors has silently scrapped the Pure Silver color option for Nexon and Tiago. The color scheme is no longer listed on the official website. Having said this, the Tata Nexon SUV is now offered in a total of five color options namely Atlas Black, Foliage Green, Calgary White, Flame Red, and Daytona Grey. While the Tiago hatchback is available in Arizona Blue, Flame Red, Pearlescent White, and Daytona Grey. 


On the basis of customer demand, automakers rejig the color options and variants from time to time. Earlier this year, the homegrown automaker discontinued the Tectonic Blue shade from Nexon SUV. Furthermore, the Tata Harrier Camo edition also faced the axe last month. When Tata Tiago received its facelift update, yellow and blue color options were scrapped out.

Besides removing the Pure Silver color option, no other changes have been done on both the vehicles. Tata Nexon comes with two engine options - 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L turbo diesel. The former churns out a top power of 118 bhp and a peak torque of 170 Nm. While the latter generates 108 bhp power and 260 Nm peak torque. Talking about Tata Tiago, it is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that dishes out a maximum power of 85 bhp and a peak torque of 113 Nm.

As for the price, Tata Nexon SUV falls in the range of Rs 7.29 lakh - Rs 13.24 lakh (ex-showroom). While Tata Tiago hatchback’s price starts from Rs 5 lakh and goes as high as Rs 7.05 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
