Leapmotor and Stellantis’s EV plans for India

India is part of the second phase of Leapmotor's global expansion after the initial rollout in Europe and other regions. Leapmotor will use Stellantis' established global sales and service network to build customer trust and provide post-sales support in new markets like India.

The launch may happen within the first half of 2025 and will likely be phased. The Chinese electric car maker is expected to launch these vehicles in India:

Leapmotor T03: It's a compact electric hatchback with a 37.3 kWh battery capacity and around 265 km of range. It may compete with models like the Tata Tiago EV and Citroën eC3 in India.
