The upcoming Ola motorcycle is going to be an entry-level offering. It will be positioned between 100 and 125 cc motorcycles. The new teaser video showcases that the new electric bike does not feature excessively fat tyres at both ends. It looks like a naked motorcycle, specifically designed for city commutes. The new electric model features a wide handlebar and slightly mid-set footpegs. This trait is likely to enhance the electric bike’s overall range. The Ola electric motorcycle comes equipped with a mono-shock at the rear and a telescopic suspension up front. Additionally, it is expected to be loaded with all-LED lighting and a digital instrument cluster.
Ola Electric unveiled the concept version of the upcoming e-bike in 2023. The brand showcased four trims of the new Ola electric bike, including Adventure, Roadster, Diamondhead, and Cruiser. These new bikes will be built on a single platform. Ola has not shared any mechanical details regarding these models yet.
Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Agarwal said during the press conference that for the new e-bike, Ola is going to utilize electric vehicle batteries constructed in-house.
