Ola Electric has started customer deliveries of the Ola S1 X electric scooter in India. The S1 X is the most affordable electric scooter in the brand’s lineup. The EV maker offers the S1 X in three battery set options: 4 kW, 2 kW, and 3 kW. Ola recently announced special discounts on its lineup. After the price revision, the S1 X 4 kW comes at a price of INR 99,999 (ex-showroom), whereas the 3 kW version is priced at INR 84,999 (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Ola 2 kW is available at a price of INR 69,999 (ex-showroom).

The Ola S1 X e-scooter houses a 4.3-inch LCD instrument console in place of a touchscreen. The e-scooter comes equipped with features like app connectivity and cruise control. It has amenities like circular rear-view mirrors, redesigned headlights, and a flat floorboard. The S1 X has three riding modes: Eco, Sports, and Normal.

The Ola S1 X electric scooter can sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. The S1 X draws power from a hub motor setup that generates a peak output of 6 kW. The Ola S1 X2 kWh version has a top speed of 85 km/h, and it can sprint from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. The 4 kWh and 3 kWh versions, on the other hand, can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and have a peak speed of 90 km/h.

Commenting on the recent development, the Chief Marketing Officer at Ola Electric Technologies, Anshul Khandelwal, said, “With S1 X, we eliminate high upfront costs as one of the key barriers affecting the adoption of EVs. Our entry into the mass-market portfolio helps us widen our target customer base, enabling an increasing number of current and potential 2W users to join India’s rapidly evolving EV landscape. Affordability, accessibility, and ease of ownership are the key characteristics that make S1 X an attractive proposition for every Indian."
