Electric vehicle brand Okaya has announced that it is offering discounts of up to INR 18,000 on its electric scooter range for a limited time. The company stated in a recent press release that the new discount scheme is valid until February 29, 2024. After the discount, Okaya EV’s electric scooters now begin at a price of INR 74,899 (ex-showroom), with a range of 75 km in one charge.
Okaya sells seven electric scooters in India: the Faast F3, Faast F4, Faast F2F, Motofaast, Faast F2T, Faast F2B, and Freedum. The Okaya Faast F4 electric scooter now comes at a reduced price of INR 119,990 (ex-showroom), while earlier it was priced at INR 1,37,990 (ex-showroom). The Faast F4 comes with a range of 140 to 160 km per charge. The e-scooter gets two batteries, which provide a total output of 4.4 kWh. The company has also reduced the price of the Faast F3, which is now priced at INR 109,990 (ex-showroom), down from INR 124,990 (ex-showroom).

After the price cut, the Okaya Motofaast is available at a price of INR 128,999 (ex-showroom), the Faast F2F is priced at INR 83,999 (ex-showroom), and the Faast F2B comes at a cost of INR 93,950 (ex-showroom). Faast F2T and Freedum e-scooters, on the other hand, are now priced at INR 92,900 (ex-showroom) and INR 74,899 (ex-showroom), respectively. The company is aiming to boost its sales in the upcoming months by offering a price cut on its range of electric scooters available in the Indian market. The company claimed that its electric scooters are ICAT-certified and provide a safer ride with robust IP67 waterproof and dust resistance.
The Managing Director of Okaya EV, Anshul Gupta, said, “We have significantly lowered the prices across the entire range to strengthen affordability. This strategic move aims to alleviate any concerns customers may have regarding EV pricing, ultimately accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in India. We are confident that this initiative will propel EV adoption forward and enable us to achieve significant milestones in the near future."
