MG Hector Shine Variant Launched at Rs 14.52 Lakhs

MG Motor has launched Hector Shine trim in the country today to mark the second anniversary of Hector. The SUV is offered in Petrol MT, Petrol CVT, and Diesel MT. Talking about the price, the petrol trims of the Hector Shine falls in the range of Rs 14.52 lakh - Rs 15.72 lakh (ex-showroom). While the diesel trim is retailed at Rs 16.50 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to this new trim, MG Hector SUV will now be offered in a total of five trim options namely Style, Super, Shine, Smart, and Sharp.

MG Hector Shine: Design & Features

Design-wise, the new Hector Shine variant gets a distinctive Havana Grey exterior paint shade. Design bits include 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs, chrome door handles, among many others. Moving inside the cabin of the Hector Shine, it comes packed with a host of features. These include a 10.4-inch touchscreen unit compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, an all-new electric sunroof, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, an electric parking brake, front parking sensors, traction control system, electronic stability programme, reverse parking sensors, all four disc brakes, among many others.

MG Hector Shine: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, the Hector Shine variant comes equipped with 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel motor. The former churns out a top power of 141 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. The motor can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox. While the latter generates 168 bhp power and 350 Nm peak torque. This particular engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox only. 

MG Hector Shine: Additional Offer

The British automaker is offering a host of curated accessories for the Hector Shine at an attractive rate. These include leatherette seat covers & steering wheel covers, an air purifier, 3D cabin mats, window sunshades, and wireless phone charging. Besides this, the car will also be available with MG Shield that further offers 5-years of unlimited-kilometre warranty, 5 labor free services, and 5-years of roadside assistance.
