Harley-Davidson has revealed the new limited-edition Fat Boy Gray Ghost bike with unique aesthetic upgrades. With the new Gray Ghost bike, Harley-Davidson pays tribute to the famous Fat Boy model, which has turned 35 this year. The original Fat Boy Gray Ghost model was launched in 1990. Harley is offering the new Gray Ghost in only 1,990 units globally. The bike is available at INR 21.56 lakh ($25,399).
The limited-run Fat Boy Gray Ghost is the fifth iteration of the brand’s Icons Motorcycle Collection. It is a modern version of the original Fat Boy Gray Ghost 1990 model, which has been immensely popular in global markets. The Harley-Davidson’s Icons Collection has other models like the Electra Glide Revival, Electra Glide Highway King, Low Rider El Diablo, and Hydra-Glide Revival.
The Harley-Davidson Fat Boy became more famous after it was featured in several Hollywood movies like Judgment Day and Terminator 2. This Harley bike was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2.

The limited-edition Fat Boy Gray Ghost stands out for its cosmetic upgrades and build. It comes with a reflective finish and corrosion-resistant coating. The motorcycle has a mirror-like surface, which is made possible with the help of the physical vapor deposition (PVD) process.
The Fat Boy Gray Ghost features three selectable riding modes: Rain, Road, and Sport. It is packed with amenities like cornering ABS, cornering traction control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), cornering drag torque slip control, and a USB-C port.
The tank console, engine inserts, and other key elements of the bike feature yellow accents that remind us of the yellow highlights of the original model. The beefy fork, chunky disc wheels, and round air cleaner create the Fat Boy look, but with only so much bespoke piecework to differentiate it as a collector's edition.
The limited-run Harley-Davidson Fat Boy draws power from a 1,923cc V-twin engine that churns out power of 101 hp at 4,800 rpm and peak torque of 166 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The Gray Ghost still sports the softail frame from the base Fat Boy and features suspension by a Showa front fork and a concealed monoshock in the back.
The seat height is still kept low at 655 mm, which, along with wide-set handlebars and foot controls set ahead, adds up to an airy feel in this bike. There is also LED lighting on this motorcycle, a half-digital instrumentation unit, and keyless starting.
Though there is no word from the company on the launch of the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Gray Ghost in the Indian market, it is anticipated that the limited-edition version can also be available in India, and there may be only a small number, most likely through the CBU channel.
