Ather Energy has launched another long-range electric scooter variant in its "Rizta" series. The new Ather Rizta S offers 159 km of claimed (IDC) range.
This is a family-oriented electric scooter that is made for slightly longer commutes. The Rizta lineup accounts for over 60% of Ather's overall sales.
The scooter competes with TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ola S1 Air, Vida V1 (Hero MotoCorp), and River Indie.
It is priced at Rs. 1.37 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for the new Ather Rizta S 3.7 kWh variant are already open. Deliveries for this new variant are expected to begin in July 2025 across major cities.
This new electric scooter is a part of the Ather Rizta series, which represents Ather Energy's entry into the family and commuter-oriented segment. This is a higher range option within the "S" trim, which sits below the fully loaded "Z" variants.
