Toyota India Launches Urban Cruiser Taisor Limited Festival Edition with Free Accessories

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), one of India’s leading car manufacturers, has launched a limited festival edition of the popular Urban Cruiser Taisor car days after unveiling the Hyryder limited edition in the Indian market. The new Cruiser Taisor has been launched with a complimentary accessory package worth up to INR 20,160. It can be purchased in G and V turbo trim until the end of this month.

Priced at INR 7.73 lakh, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is the sixth vehicle under the Maruti Suzuki and Toyota collaboration. Bookings for the Urban Cruiser Taisor SUV have already started across India, while deliveries are set to commence in May 2024.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Accessories

Toyota is offering the Urban Cruiser Taisor Festive Edition with a range of accessories, including front/rear under spoilers in granite grey and red, chrome trims on the front grille and headlamps, door sill guards, side molding, all-weather mats, a door visor, and a welcome door lamp.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Features

When it comes to features, the top-spec Taisor model is loaded with amenities like a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless phone connectivity, auto IRVM, heads-up display, auto AC, a 360-degree camera, and cruise control. For safety, the Urban Cruiser Taisor features six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, electronic stability control, and more.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Powertrain

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor comes equipped with two types of engines: a 1.2-litre K-Series motor and a 1.0-litre K-Series turbo. The non-turbo models are powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series motor that churns out power of 88 hp and peak torque of 113 Nm. The unit is paired with a five-speed manual gear, but it is also available with a five-speed automatic transmission.

On the contrary, the new limited edition of the Taisor receives a 1.0-litre K-Series engine that has output capabilities of 98 hp coupled with a max torque of 147 Nm. This turbo petrol is available with a five-speed manual or a five-speed torque converter auto transmission. The Taisor SUV can also be ordered with a biofuel package with the non-turbo K-series engine.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Pricing

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor’s non-turbo models are available at a starting price of INR 7.73 lakh and go up to INR 9.52 lakh for the top-end model (ex-showroom). The turbo versions start at INR 10.55 lakh and go up to INR 12.87 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG version of Taisor is priced at INR 8.71 lakh (ex-showroom). In its segment, the Urban Cruiser Taisor rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Renault Kiger.
