The Chennai-based bikemaker, Royal Enfield is known for manufacturing class-leading mid-segment retro motorcycles. The Royal Enfield bikes also come with a lot of customization options. If we talk about the Bullet 350, it is considered one of India’s best-selling motorcycles. Recently, a Bullet 350 has been modified. An elderly person who is a bike enthusiast has turned his Bullet 350 into a tricycle. One of the vloggers, NCR Bikerz have captured the modified Bullet 350 on their way to Delhi. The images of the same have been revealed online.Â
The owner has specifically designed the bike according to his needs. It was manufactured in the factory. The Bullet 350 seen in these images has been finished in shiny silver colour. The frame of the bike has been modified in such a way that it looks like a three-wheeler. Design bits like the stock headlamps, turn indicators, suspension set up, wire-spoke wheels, and disc brakes have been retained. In comparison to the regular Bullet 350, the modified version is a lot wider. The position of the fuel tank has been modified. It is now placed on the right side of the rider instead of the front. This further makes it easy to refuel. Talking about the engine, it is placed on the right-hand side beneath the fuel tank.Â
The gear lever has been repositioned as well. It can easily be operated via the controls on the switchgear which is now positioned on the handlebar instead of the foot peg. Since it is a three-wheeler, the rider can comfortably sit on the specially built seat on the left-hand side. The vehicle rides on three wheels. Two wheels are towards the rear. They are further connected to the engine on the right side of the vehicle with the help of a stock chain and sprocket set up.Â
Mechanically no changes have been made. The 3-wheeler continues to draw its power from a 346cc single-cylinder UCE engine that churns out 19.2 bhp power and 28 Nm peak torque. The motor is further paired to a 5-speed gearbox. As for the price, the actual price of Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is Rs 1.75 lakhs (ex-showroom). For the whole modification, the owner had to shell out an extra Rs 1.25 lakhs. So, in total, the three-wheeler is retailed at Rs 3 lakhs.Â
