Revolt Motors has announced that all its electric bikes can now be locked and unlocked using the rider’s smartphone as a virtual key. Basically, the electric bikes can be switched on and off via the MyRevolt app on the rider’s smartphone. This particular feature will be made available on all Revolt E-bikes from September 2021 onwards. The EV maker further confirms that the existing customers of RV400 will also get this feature via the system updates.

The rider will have to install the MyRevolt app on his/her smartphone. You will have to open the app on your phone and slide the power button from left to right. This will further switch on the bike. This particular feature gives the rider the liberty to use the bike keyless. One can also perform functions like activate, deactivate, and locate the bike in crowded parking via the MyRevolt app.

Performance-wise, Revolt 300 is powered by a 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery paired to a 1.5KW (Hub) Motor. The battery offers 60V power and delivers the longest range of 180km. While the RV400 draws its power from a 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion battery offering 72V power paired with a 3 KW (Mid Drive) motor.
