MG Motor India opened a new service facility in Malad, Mumbai. This new facility is the largest MG workshop in Western India. It will cater to the evolved mobility requirements of more customers across the city.
Talking about MG Motor’s latest workshop, it shares the overall look and feel of the automaker’s futuristic customer approach while also reflecting its British heritage. Besides this, the MG premium SUV has strong market potential. With the opening of this new service facility, the British automaker now operates 43 touch points in Maharashtra. Furthermore, the brand also plans to expand to 45 touchpoints in the state by the end of 2022. With this, MG will now have a total of 310 touchpoints centers across India.
“The inauguration of MG Malad workshop is aligned with our plans to enhance the service experience for our customers in Mumbai. The facility will provide all the requirements including service, spare parts, and accessories,” as commented by Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer - MG Motor India.
MG Motor recently launched the facelifted version of its pure electric car, ZS EV. The vehicle comes with a larger battery pack and range. Besides that, MG has also launched MG Charge. The aim is to install 1000 chargers in residential areas in 1000 days across India. This is the first-ever initiative by an OEM in the country.
