Kawasaki India has launched its supercharged naked motorcycles Z H2 and Z H2 SE at Rs 21.90 Lakhs and Rs 25.90 Lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom), respectively. The Z H2 duo was first revealed in October 2019. Interested buyers can book the bikes either by directly going to the authorized dealerships of IKM or through Kawasaki’s official website.
The Kawasaki Z H2 takes design inspiration from Kawasaki’s latest SUGOMI design language. Cosmetically, both the variants get a sharp and aggressive look. Upfront, the Z H2 duo features an LED headlamp with LED DRLs. There is also a ‘Kawasaki River Mark’ on the headlamp cowl. Other design bits include an exposed trellis frame and an asymmetric ram-air intake at the front. The SE variant features a belly pan finished in green color instead of black and green stitching on the seat.
The Z H2 comes well-equipped with features, These include a 4.3-inch full-color TFT LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and Kawasaki's ‘Rideology' app. The safety kit comprises KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), electronic cruise control, KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), KLCM (Kawasaki Launch Control Mode), KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System), KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function). Both the variants offer three riding modes - Sport, Road, & Rain - and three power modes - Full, Middle, & Low.
Performance-wise, both the Z H2 bikes draw power from a 998cc, inline-four supercharged engine. The motor bells out 200 bhp power at 11,000 rpm and 137 Nm torque at 8,500rpm while being linked to a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch as standard. Suspension duties are handled by a fully-adjustable forks upfront and a mono-shock setup towards the rear. The SE variant gets KECS (Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension) with Showa’s Skyhook technology. As for the brakes, the Z H2 variant gets two radially-mounted Brembo M4.32 calipers while the Z H2 SE variant uses higher-spec Brembo Stylema brakes. Talking about the color options, the Z H2 duo is offered in a single paint scheme - Metallic Diablo Black/Golden Blazed Green.
