The French car manufacturer Citroen has rolled out the updated Citroen C3 hatchback in the Indian market after unveiling the 2024 C3 edition last month. The revised C3 model is now available at an ex-showroom price of INR 6.16 lakh. The automaker revealed the updated Citroen C3 hatchback at the launch event of the Citroen Basalt. Citroen has now launched the hatchback with new advanced features and an optional six-speed AT transmission, along with a turbo-petrol engine. The company is offering the 2024 Citroen C3 in eight different variants.

Additionally, Citroen has increased the price of the top-end C3 Shine variant by INR 30,000, and it is now priced at INR 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The Feel variant, on the contrary, has now become dearer by INR 20,000. It is now available at an ex-showroom price of INR 7.47 lakh. Notably, the company has not revealed the costs for the top-spec automatic variant of the new hatchback.
When it comes to features, the Citroen C3 comes loaded with LED projector headlamps, 14-inch alloy wheels, and auto-folding ORVMs. Inside, the hatchback receives more comfort features, such as a seven-inch fully digital driver’s display and an automatic AC. The car also receives features like six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, ABS with EBD, steering-mounted audio controls, rear parking sensors, and hill-start assist.
The 2024 Citroen C3 draws power from two engine options: 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol. The turbo-petrol unit churns out 109 bhp of peak power and 109 Nm/205 Nm of peak torque in the six-speed AT guise, and in the six-speed MT guise, it produces power of 109 bhp and peak torque of 190 Nm. On the contrary, the 3-cylinder engine can churn out a power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 115 Nm. The unit is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
The updated C3 hatchback rivals the likes of the Maruti Swift, Renault Triber, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and compact sedans like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and the forthcoming Maruti Dzire.
