MG Motor is bullish about its opportunities in the Indian market following the recent launch of Hector Plus SUV. Apart from its upcoming new models, the iconic British brand is aiming to venture into the pre-owned car sales biz. In a recent development, MG Motors India has launched its certified Pre-Loved Car Vertical ‘MG Reassure’ in the country. The new service will provide the best residual value for MG cars to customers across its authorized dealerships. The pre-owned cars will go through a rigorous 160+ quality check programme to ensure the inspection standards and all necessary repairs are followed before the resale occurs.
MG Motors believes in leveraging technology to deliver effortless services to its customers. The automotive manufacturer will follow a methodical valuation for the best pricing of the used vehicles. MG customers can sell their cars without any necessity to swap it for a new model.
Speaking on the launch of MG ReAssure, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India said, “Through MG Reassure program, we want to create a platform extending Transparency, Speed, Peace of Mind, and Assurance of the Best Resale Value of MG cars to our customers across India. This program also offers a unique opportunity to other patrons for purchasing quality pre-loved MG cars from our Reassure centres. The initiative will enhance customer retention and empower our patrons to stay within the MG Family while enjoying flexible ownership.”
As per the manufacturer, MG vehicles have one of the highest resale values. As per the top car validation portals, MG Hector resale values are soaring in the user-car segment. MG Motors claims the residual value of Hector after a year of use would lie in the bandwidth of 95-100 per cent. This claim is based on the various industry reports sourced by MG Motors.
Indian customers will have to purchase pre-owned cars from authorized dealerships but before that they will undergo stringent quality control checks. MG is also offering plenty of assurances to the customers like 3 years and unlimited kilometres warranty, three-years roadside assistance and three free services.
