The SVAutobiography LWB takes the standard car’s 2922mm wheelbase and stretches it to 3,120mm to offer more legroom for rear passengers. The seats also recline by 40deg.
Land Rover design boss Gerry McGovern said, “The Range Rover SV Autobiography is the epitome of luxury, comfort and refinement. Our standard-bearer for quality and precision exemplifies the attention to detail and sophistication that has been a hallmark of our most luxurious SUV stretching back almost 50 years.”
The car is fitted with Land Rover's Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with twin-touchscreen controls, where you can swipe info from one screen to the other. There are three engines on offer - Land Rover’s 565hp super-charged 5.0-litre V8, a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit with an electric motor with 403hp and a 4.4-litre SDV8 diesel entry-level engine, which produces 338hp.
Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre in Warwickshire will hand-build the new model, and each car offers customers a very high level of customisation. The new Range Rover SVAutobiography LWB is expected to come to India in 2018.
