TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of the 2021 Apache RR 310 on August 30, 2021 in the Indian market. The company has sent out an official invite stating that its flagship motorcycle will be launched at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai. The 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 was originally scheduled to launch in the first week of April this year but it was delayed due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India and the subsequent lockdowns in several states. The Apache RR 310 will rival KTM RC 390 in the country.
The 2021 Apache RR 310 will get multiple cosmetic and mechanical upgrades in order to make it a better overall package for the buyers. Though the updates are yet to be revealed by the company, we expect the bike to receive preload adjustability at the front suspension. The aforementioned update was also made to the Apache RTR 200 4V recently. It enables the riders to adjust the suspension system as per their comfort and convenience. In fact, the levers could be offered as span-adjustable units. As evident, TVS Apache RR 310 comes with four riding modes and the brand might make an improvement in electronic rider aids. The Urban & Rain modes are devoid of accurate engine mapping and the decent amount of low torque needed for city riding is missing in the current model.
It has been learnt that the 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 will boast of a new pair of tyres since the government has announced its decision of banning all imported tyres from foreign nations. The present model rides on Michelin Road 5 tyres which would be replaced with TVS Eurogrip ProTorq Extreme tyres. TVS has been testing these tyres for a long time now and they could debut with the 2021 Apache RR 310. The bike will be powered by the same 313cc single-cylinder DOHC engine, albeit with a bit of retuning to extract higher degree of power output. The ongoing model has maximum power output of 33.5 bhp and peak torque performance of 27.3 Nm. Stay tuned for more updates on the same!
