This new Tata Nexor EV Prime is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, with an automatic transmission system and front-wheel drive. The driving mode of Tata Nexor Prime is purely electric. It gets fully charged in 09:10 hours through any 15amp plug point, and the charging could reach from 10% to 80% in 60 min approximately through the CCS (Combined Charging System) based fast charging.

It is equipped with a regenerative braking system with multiple modes to conserve the energy in the battery generated through braking, resulting in an increase in driving range.
