Hero scooters is all set to launch eMaestro all-electric scooter in the Indian market. Being based on the standard Hero Maestro Edge, it was recently clicked at the company's Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Hero eMaestro could be launched in early 2021 in the country with an expected price of Rs 1 Lakh (Ex. Showroom).

It all started when Brijmohan Lall Munjal, founder of Hero Bicycle teamed up with Majestic Gears, a bicycle parts maker to make Mopeds.
