About

Tata Harrier Cars

Harrier was developed under the project Q501. Primarily it was named Tata H5X. Later before the release, the name was shortened to "Harrier" in 2018. Harrier is a C - segment SUV based on the OmegaArc platform. It is placed between the subcompact Tata Nexon and mid-sized Tata Safari. Harrier has a 2 litres Multijet 16 valve four-cylinder turbo diesel engine.According to a survey, this is observed that harrier’s sales are  around 3000 units per month.

It delivers max power 125 kW (170 PS) at 3750 RPM and maximum torque 350 Nm at 1750 - 2500. Harrier has been manufactured to compete with Hyundai Creta. The aluminium architecture is replaced by cost-effective materials but the inborn beauty of this platform has made the Harrier a standout. The production began in October 2018 at the Pune plant. On 23 rd January 2019, Tata finally launched Harrier.

There are independent suspensions at four ends which takes this car to international standards.
