Tata Altroz Turbo is coming to the Indian market on January 22, 2021. The new turbocharged model will give Tata Motors a boost in the lucrative hatchback segment in the country. It will compete against the likes of Volkswagen Polo GT and New-Gen Hyundai i20 Turbo in India. As we await the official launch, we have got some exciting news for our readers in the form of a digitally rendered version of the Tata Altroz Turbo. An 18-year-old Yash Upadhyay has created a remarkable digital image of the hatchback as a JTP Racing Concept model. It is quite exciting to see the hatchback in a completely new avatar.

It is quite distinct from the upcoming hatchback with the design influenced from motor racing cars. Up front, one can spot a black-finished grille with LED headlamps, body cladding and JTP badging. Moving to the side, it features flared wheel arches, 5-spoke alloy wheels while the rear stands to provide connected LED taillamps, dual-exhaust as well as Altroz and JTP bold lettering. Additionally, there are vents on the hood with auxiliary lights on the roof. The design would seem unfeasible on the model but would be quite apt for a motorsport vehicle.

Mechanically, there are no details, but it would be quite powerful in comparison to the stock model retailing in the market. As we know, Tata Motors has a long-standing association with Jayem Automotives. They have earlier worked on performance-oriented models of Tiago and Tigor. The turbocharged versions came with a modified suspension system as well as a dynamic driving set-up. Unfortunately, they were discontinued post the new BS6 emission era. Despite the setback, Tata Motors has plans to introduce performance-enhanced Tata Tiago and Tigor cars in the country in the near future. There are spy shots of the models with a colourful exterior.
