The South Korean auto giant Kia has teased the upcoming EV6 facelift ahead of its official debut in global markets. The auto marque is all set to unveil the updated EV6 in the coming weeks. The new SUV will get various new design updates and features. The teaser released by Kia provides hints that the EV could feature a bigger battery set for better driving range. The front fascia of the EV6 receives a new design, which can also be seen in the brand’s new EV series models like the EV5 and EV9. Both models were unveiled for international markets over the past few years.

Kia first launched the EV6 sports utility vehicle globally in August 2021, while in India, it was launched in 2022. The EV6 is the first dedicated electric vehicle from the company. In the Indian market, the electric SUV is being offered in two variants: GT Line AWD and GT Line. The electric car provides a range of more than 700 km on one charge. The Kia EV6 comes at a starting price of INR 60.95 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the top version is priced at INR 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The LED headlight casing is situated lower compared to the variant that is now on sale. The SUV is expected to get a new grille and bumper.

The Kia EV6 facelift is expected to come equipped with redesigned alloy wheels. The electric SUV will continue to feature connected LED taillights and an arrow signature. Inside, it is likely to get features like a new infotainment screen and a redesigned steering wheel. The brand will also offer new safety and comfort features to enhance the overall riding experience.

The company has not shared much information about the new iteration of the EV6, but it is expected to house the latest 84 kWh battery pack, which is also equipped in the new Hyundai Ioniq 5. The 84-kWh battery set is expected to replace the previous 77-kWh unit integrated into the outgoing EV6.
