Hyundai Motor is all set to unveil the new Creta SUV in India next year. The automaker is getting ready to launch its best-selling SUV in the country in a new avatar. The upcoming Creta facelift SUV is likely to be launched in the Indian market on January 16, 2024. Hyundai has already started testing the compact SUV ahead of its official launch.

Recently, the test mules of the SUV were spotted in Shimla. Also, the spy shots circulated on social media revealed the features and details of the Creta facelift. The SUV witnessed in the spy shots is covered in black camouflage. The images reveal several feature details of the SUV, such as the silver body color, new alloy wheels, connected LED taillight unit, and panoramic sunroof. The current model of the SUV does not come with a connected LED taillight unit. Just like Kia Seltos and Tata Harrier, Creta will also get this feature. The Creta facelift is likely to come with a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and ADAS technology.

The 2024 Creta gets a redesigned pair of taillights and an upgraded alloy design. The facelift SUV will come with the same design elements as Hyundai's global SUV, the Palisade. The front fascia of the SUV will get a vertical LED light set up with a parametric grille. The Creta will also get an updated light setup and sequential turn indicators.

Inside the cabin, the Creta will have an all-black theme and double-tone seats. Hyundai will offer headrests for the passengers sitting in the back seats. The company is likely to offer a double-screen setup on the SUV. The Hyundai Creta is likely to be powered by three powertrain options, including a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol unit, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit. All these engines will come paired with multiple transmission options, including a six-speed AT, a six-speed manual, and a seven-speed DCT for the turbo engine.

The Creta SUV is available at an initial price of INR 10.87 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming Creta is likely to be priced at INR 11 lakh (ex-showroom). After its official launch, the SUV will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and others.
