Skoda Auto India has introduced the 'Clever Lease' car leasing program in the country. Under this new initiative, people can now lease Skoda cars in eight metropolitan cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad. The monthly lease rental starts at Rs 22580 for Skoda's model range and it is available for salaried individuals, working professionals, SMEs, corporate entities, and public sector units (PSUs). The company is offering three leasing options in the form of plain, dry, or wet lease with monthly rentals for a tenure of 24, 36, 48, and 60 months.
Skoda Rapid 1.0L TSI as well as the Skoda Superb can be availed on monthly rentals as a part of the 'Clever Lease' program. The company is planning a nationwide expansion of this program from the initial 8 cities in a subsequent phase-wise manner, as part of the 'INDIA 2.0' project. The 'Clever Lease' program covers several benefits and services such as road tax, insurance, breakdown assistance, accidental repairs, end to end maintenance, scheduled tyre and battery changes, and a replacement vehicle. In addition, it requires zero down payment with customized services and subscription based payment models for the added convenience. Skoda has joined hands with ORIX Auto for the 'Clever Lease' program.
