Toyota India has officially commenced the bookings for the 2022 Glanza facelift in the country. The new hatchback can be booked at a token amount of Rs 11,000 online at the company website as well as at the company dealerships in the Indian market. Based on the recently introduced Maruti Baleno facelift, the 2022 Toyota Glanza facelift will be launched on March 15 in India. It will rival the likes of Volkswagen Polo, Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno and Honda Jazz in the domestic market.
Being termed as ‘Cool new Glanza’, it will boast of several advanced features in the form of head-up display, 360-degree camera and touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The new hatchback will also feature Toyota's home-grown 'Hey Toyota Voice Assistant' connected car technology. Design-wise, the 2022 Glanza facelift will flaunt Toyota signature front fascia with stylish front grille and bumper. It will be equipped with 6-airbags as one of the safety features. The hatch will come with a warranty of 3 years/100,000 kms and option of warranty extension of up to 5 years/220,000 kms, a periodic service in just 60 minutes via EM60, Roadside Assistance, and booking online service.
Mechanically, the 2022 Toyota Glanza facelift will be powered by a 1.2L K-Series petrol engine which will develop top power of 88 bhp. The engine will be paired with a manual gearbox as standard while an AMT unit will be available as an option. Toyota claims that the hatchback will deliver mileage in excess of 22kmpl.
