On December 8, MG Motor announced its benefit scheme, known as December Fest in India. The manufacturer is providing attractive discounts on all variants across its lineup. Under this scheme, MG cars will be available with the benefit of up to INR 1.50 lakh on their ex-showroom costs. As part of the year-end sales, several automakers, including Honda India, Kawasaki, and Ola, are offering enticing discounts and benefits on their models. MG Motor has also joined the other car makers in India to provide exciting benefits as part of their year-end sales.

The December Fest scheme is only applicable until the end of this month. The British automaker has released these benefits before implementing a price hike across its lineup starting in January 2024. MG Motor will offer the biggest discount on variants like the ZS EV, Astor, and Gloster. According to the December Fest, the Astor and Gloster cars will be available with a discount of INR 1 lakh and exchange benefits of up to INR 50,000. The ZS EV is the brand’s first EV launched in the Indian market, and it also gets similar benefits.

Other models, like the Comet EV, Hector, and Hector Plus, are also part of the December Fest scheme. The Hector is the company’s best-selling car in India. MG Motor is now offering this new-generation SUV with a special benefit and exchange bonus of INR 50,000. The Comet EV is the country’s most affordable EV, and it will now come with a discount of up to INR 65,000.

In the beginning of December, MG Motor declared that it would implement a price hike on its variants starting in January 2024. The car maker is going to surge the prices of the Hector Plus, Hector, Gloster SUV, Astor, ZS EV, and Comet EV. The company increased the costs of two of its flagship models, Gloster and Hector, in August this year. MG Motor said that the hike was implemented due to rising costs, commodity prices, and overall inflation.
