The 2024 iteration of the popular Classic 350 is scheduled to be launched on the Indian market on September 1, 2024. The two-wheeler giant will start the booking and delivery on the same day. Available in seven different color schemes, the 2024 Classic 350 takes inspiration from its predecessor.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has the same bodywork and mechanicals as the outgoing model. It comes equipped with an all-new LED headlamp and taillight, adjustable levers, a USB charging port, and an updated instrument console. The new Classic 350 bike is being offered in seven color schemes, including Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Dark Green with contrast chrome, Medallion Brown, Commando Sand, Black, and possibly Redditch Grey.

Mechanically, the updated Classic 350 draws power from the same 349-cc J-Series single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which is also equipped in the current model. The unit churns out a maximum power of 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension setup, the new Royal Enfield bike receives 41 mm telescopic forks up front, and at the rear, it gets twin shock absorbers with six-step preload adjustability. The top variant of the Classic 350 houses a 270 mm rear disc and a 300 mm disc up front. In addition, the standard variants also feature dual-channel ABS, whereas the base variants continue to feature a 153-mm rear drum brake and single-channel ABS. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 rolls on 18-inch rear and 19-inch front spoked wheels.

The Classic 350 motorcycle rivals the likes of the Jawa 350, Honda H’ness 350, Jawa 42, Benelli Imperiale 400, Hero Mavrick 440, Yezdi Roadster, and Triumph Speed 400. Pricing-wise, the new motorcycle is likely to be slightly more expensive than the current model. The motorcycle is expected to be priced between INR 1.97 lakh and INR 2.28 lakh (ex-showroom).
