Toyota Motor Corporation has revealed the Hilux Champ pickup truck in Thailand. The company first unveiled the Hilux Champ as the IMV 0 concept at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. It sits below the outgoing standard Hilux available in the Indian market. For now, Toyota has not confirmed if it will launch the pickup truck in the Indian market. However, there is a possibility that the company might unveil this new truck in India, as the new Hilux is based on the IMV platform.
The Hilux Champ has been unveiled as a highly customizable truck. It is available in ten different configurations. Toyota claims that, except for a few body parts and mechanicals, the pickup truck can be customized via third-party modifiers. It measures 5,300 mm in length, 1,735 mm in height, and 1,785 mm in width. The kerb weight measures 2,790 kg, while the maximum load capacity is specified at 1 tonne.

Toyota is offering this new truck as a 2-door model with a bed. Breaking duties in the pickup truck are performed by ventilated discs in the front and drum brakes at the rear. The IMV platform is being supported by a dual wishbone independent suspension along with coil springs in the front and stabilizer bar/leaf springs at the rear.
The Toyota Hilux Champ pickup truck will be powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine that is tuned to churn out 147 bhp of maximum power at 3,400 rpm and 400 Nm of peak torque at 1,600–2,000 rpm. The gearbox equipped in the truck is a six-speed automatic unit with a consecutive shift that conducts power only to the rear wheels. As of now, the company is not going to offer a four-wheel-drive model in the new Toyota Hilux Champ. If market demand increases for this model, Toyota might offer more engine and transmission options. The Hilux Champ looks different from the standard model. It comes with a funky look. The design of the grille in the Champ is based on the grille equipped in the Land Cruiser.
