For ages, the homegrown manufacturer has changed the game with its range of cruiser bikes in India. There was a time when motorcycle touring was limited to only a small bunch of people. Royal Enfield Classic 350



Royal Enfield gave a BS6 update to its highest-selling motorcycle the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in India. The classic design of the cruiser is one of the major highlights of the bike. The bike is offered in two variants - Single-Channel ABS and Dual-Channel ABS. The single-channel ABS variant costs Rs 1.61 lakh (ex-showroom). While the dual-channel ABS variant is priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike gets a youthful design with funky colours and a retro charm. However, with this BS6 update, it does not get any cosmetic changes. It is further powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that churns out 20.07 bhp power and 28 Nm torque. The motor is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. Talking about fuel efficiency, the bike offers an ARAI certified mileage in the range of 38.46 kmpl - 41.93 kmpl. 


Jawa 42



Classic Legends Private Limited introduced the BS6 version of Jawa 42 in the country. The bike is priced in the range of Rs 1.65 lakh - Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in two variants namely Single-Channel ABS and Double-Channel ABS. Cosmetically, it features a matte look and has a sporty character. Mechanically, Jawa 42 is offered with a BS6 compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor generates 27 bhp power and 28 Nm torque while being linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the engine comes with fuel-injection and features India’s first cross port technology on the bike. The motorcycle offers a mileage of 37.5 kmpl (ARAI Certified). 


Benelli Imperiale 400



Benelli launched the BS6 version of Imperiale 400 in the price bracket of Rs 1.99 lakh - Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. In terms of design and features, the motorcycle remains the same as its predecessor. At present, it is one of the feature-loaded affordable retro-cruiser on sale in India. Performance-wise, the bike draws its power from a 374cc, SOHC, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. While being mated to a 5-speed gearbox and multidisc wet clutch, the engine generates 21 bhp power @6000 rpm and 29 Nm torque @3500 rpm. As for fuel efficiency, the bike offers an ARAI certified mileage of 29 kmpl. 


Honda H’ness CB350



Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched the H’Ness CB350 in the Indian market this year. The bike marks the Japanese manufacturer’s entry into the 350cc modern classic segment in the country. Furthermore, the motorcycle offers a classic appeal and first-in-segment features. It is offered in two variants namely DLX and DLX Pro. It falls in the price bracket of Rs 1.85 lakh - Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Mechanically, it is powered by a 348.36cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that dishes out a maximum power of 20.8 bhp @5500 rpm and a peak torque of 30 Nm @3000 rpm. The motor is linked to a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The bike offers a fuel efficiency of 42 kmpl (ARAI Certified). 


Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220




Bajaj Auto launched the BS6 version of Avenger Cruise 220 in the country. At present, the bike is retailed at Rs 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, it is one of the most affordable cruiser motorcycles currently on sale in India. Cosmetically, it follows the same design language with ample chrome and a tall windscreen upfront. Performance-wise, the bike is powered by a 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, DTS-i engine. The motor is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. It further generates 19.03 bhp power and 17.5 Nm torque. The two-wheeler offers a mileage of 35 kmpl (ARAI Certified).
