Tata Motors has joined hands with Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd in order to launch the popular Nexon EV in Nepal at a starting price of NPR 35.99 lakhs (Rs 22.55 lakhs approx). Much like India, the electric SUV will be sold in a total of three variants namely XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. Furthermore, the model will also come with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 km on the battery and 3 years or 1,25,000 km on the vehicle. All the customers who do the prior booking of Tata Nexon EV can become a part of the priority delivery list. Performance-wise, the Nexon EV uses a 95 kW electric motor paired with a 30.2 kWh lithium battery pack. The powertrain generates 128 bhp power and 245 Nm peak torque. Besides this, the electric SUV sprints to a top speed of 122 kmph. It can further accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 9.9 seconds. Talking about the charging option, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent in just 1 hour with the help of a DC fast charger. While a standard AC charger can charge the battery to 100 percent in just 8-9 hours.
