Royal Enfield unveiled the new-generation Himalayan at EICMA 2023. The two-wheeler manufacturer will reveal the price of the new Himalayan at Royal Enfield Motoverse. The company revealed the complete specifications of the new adventure tourer at the trade show in Milan. Bookings for the new motorcycle have already started in India. Pre-bookings for the new adventure tourer have started for a token of INR 10,000.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is one of the most anticipated launches of 2023. And it is anticipated to be the most essential motorcycle for Royal Enfield. And it starts a new chapter for the company as it embraces the real ethos of the Himalayan lineups while including new technologies as a plus point. Royal Enfield will be hosting a yearly festival called RE Motoverse in Goa. The RE Motoverse, previously known as Rider Mania, will be held from November 24 to 26. At the MotoReel arena, bike enthusiasts will share their adventure stories with the audience. Royal Enfield showcases a new model every year at the RE Motoverse. Last year, the company revealed the 650 Twins at Rider Mania at the same event.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan gets several new features, such as a new liquid-cooled engine, ride-by-wire, all-digital console, lighter elements like a forged piston, and many more. The adventure tourer is powered by the newly forged Sherpa 450 engine. The single-cylinder motor produces 39.4 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and it is mated to a six-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The new Himalayan is developed on a new twin-spar platform with 43 mm USD forks at the front and, at the rear, a seven-step adjustable monoshock. The braking duties are performed by a 320 mm single disc at the front and a 270 mm disc at the rear with double-channel ABS. The rear ABS module can be turned off while going off-road. The adventure tourer gets two riding modes: Performance and Eco, with ride-by-wire. The motorcycle has a big 17-litre fuel tank, and the stock seat height has ascended to 825 mm. The stock seat height can also be increased to 845 mm. The Himalayan 450 rolls on a 21-inch spoke wheel at the front and a 17-inch alloy wheel at the rear. The new Himalayan will come in five color schemes and three variants: Summit, Base, and Pass.
