Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “S-Cross enjoys a special place in the NEXA portfolio as its flagship product and has been appreciated by over 1.25 lakh customers for its premium interiors, stylish and masculine design. We are delighted to announce the commencement of bookings for the S-Cross Petrol. The automatic unit will be available with all variants of the S-Cross - Delta, Zeta and Alpha - except the entry-level Sigma trim. The next generation dual battery Smart Hybrid technology will come with Li-ion battery setup. Maruti S-Cross BS6 petrol will have no cosmetic updates at the outside while inside the cabin, it is learnt that the older Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system will be upgraded to Smartplay Studio system. As for safety, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchorages would be standard across the entire crossover range.
