A future high-tech, luxurious minivan has been previewed by Nissan with the Hyper Tourer concept. A fully autonomous driving capability, high-density solid-state batteries, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology, and a strong emphasis on aerodynamics are all features of the minivan that will compete with the Volvo EM90.

Nissan Hyper Tourer Interior and Design Specs

The flat-sided body has sharp lines, deep, chiseled front and rear bumpers, and an aerodynamic exterior design. It lacks door mirrors and has wheels that have been designed to have the least amount of drag possible. Channels have been cut into the bodywork to smooth airflow.

The interior, which was designed with long-distance travel in mind, is said to continue the theme of luxury by fusing technology with "the essence of omotenashi" (Japanese hospitality).

In order to maximize interior space and keep the center of gravity as minimal as possible for more seamless acceleration and braking, high-density batteries have been packaged.

Nissan Hyper Tourer Characteristics

When the Hyper Tourer is operating autonomously, the front seats can rotate 360 degrees, allowing the front and rear passengers to face one another. Rear passengers can also use the infotainment system up front by donning a display that resembles a virtual reality headset.

According to Nissan, artificial intelligence (AI) will be used to track the health of the passenger, including their heart rate, breathing, and perspiration, and automatically change the ambient lighting and music to "fit the mood."

Its V2X technology, which is also present in the Hyper Urban and Hyper Adventure concepts, enables it to provide electricity to residences, workplaces, and moving vehicles through a solid-state battery. This might be helpful if you want to power a house during a blackout or sell electricity back to the national grid.
