BMW has finally launched its 7 series 740d M Sport Edition in India today. And it is coming to the Indian market as a CBU pathway. The BMW 740d M Sport Edition launched today is currently priced at INR 1.81 Crore(ex-showroom). Other than this BMW 7 series car, BMW has also launched their all-electric BMW i7 M70 xDrive priced at INR 2.50 Crore(ex-showroom). Both of these high-end cars will be available for sale across all their dealerships from today onwards.
This 7 series 740d M Sport Edition gets its power from a 3.0 L 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged diesel engine. It churns out a maximum power of 282 bhp and a peak torque of 650 Nm at an rpm ranging between 1500-2500. It is coupled to an automatic transmission. And the automaker claims that 740d M Sport Edition can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in only 6 seconds and can acquire a top speed of 250 kmph.

The 740d M Sport Edition gets a fully touchscreen infotainment system which can be used by both voice commands as well as gestures. As a standard, it is equipped with cruise control, Reversing Assistant, Parking Assistant Professional, and Attentiveness Assistant along with a remote parking using smartphone.
The interior has Merino leather upholstery which can be had with nAmarone, Smoke White, Tartufo, Black, and Mocha. In the front, the kidney grille is lighted with a gloss black surround. M-specific changes include side skirts, black exterior mirrors, a rear spoiler, M logos, 21-inch alloy wheels, and brake calipers in blue colour.
