Audi India is all set to launch the A4 facelift in the Indian market tomorrow. The company had already commenced the booking of the new sedan from December 21 onwards across the country. Interested buyers can easily book the vehicle at an initial amount of Rs 2 lakhs. Furthermore, a 4-year comprehensive service package is also on offer for free as a pre-booking offer. As for price, we can expect the sedan to cost around Rs 42 lakhs (ex-showroom). It will be offered in two trims: Premium Plus and Technology.
The 2021 Audi A4 facelift will get subtle cosmetic updates. The front fascia will look aggressive and bold due to the presence of a wider single-frame grille. In addition, there will also be newly designed LED headlamps along with DRLs. At the sides, we can expect the vehicle to get a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Towards the rear end, the facelifted A4 will get new tail-lamps connected by a chrome strip. The front and rear bumper will also get subtle tweaks.
The cabin of the upcoming Audi A4 facelift will boast of segment-first features. The main feature highlight will be the new free-standing 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The equipment list will further include a ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital instrument cluster, cruise control, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, sunroof, and powered front seats. Talking about safety, the 2021 A4 facelift will offer multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitor system.
Under the bonnet, the upcoming A4 will be offered in petrol fuel trim only. The new BS6 compliant 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit will replace the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The 2.0-litre unit dishes out a maximum power of 190 bhp while being linked to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. As of now, the company is not keen on introducing a diesel engine.
