India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki is about to launch the updated Baleno and bookings for the same have commenced today. The new Maruti Baleno facelift can be booked across all Nexa showrooms for a booking amount of Rs. 11,000/-. The new Baleno is expected to get only cosmetic changes and new safety features on offer.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the Baleno facelift later this month. The exteriors will get mild changes such as new front grille, revised bumpers, new alloy wheels and tweaked tail lights. The interiors will remain more or less the same apart from a few changes to the upholstery and mild cosmetic changes to the dashboard.
The Baleno facelift will get updated safety features on offer to comply with the upcoming safety regulations. It will get speed alert system, co-driver seat belt reminder and rear parking assist sensors. These are over and above the standard dual airbags, child seat restrain system (ISOFIX), Pre-tensioner and force limiter seat belts and ABS with EBD. It will come with the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine options.
