Hyundai Ioniq 5 Gets New Exterior and Interior Color Options in India

Hyundai Motor India has updated the Ioniq 5 electric SUV for MY2024. The all-electric SUV is now available in four exterior colors. It also has two interior color options, including the stylish Obsidian Black. The company says that the updated SUV is available at the same price of INR 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can reserve the updated Ioniq 5 through the brand’s Indian website. Bookings are now open for a token amount of INR 1 lakh.

In terms of exterior, the Ioniq 5 gets a new Titan Grey exterior color scheme. After the new color addition, the SUV is now available in a total of four exterior paint options, including the existing Midnight Black Pearl, Gravity Gold Matte, and Optic White. Inside the cabin, the Dark Pebble Grey color has been added to the Dark Pebble Grey interior color scheme, which adds to the overall appeal of the updated model.

The COO of Hyundai Motor India, Tarun Garg, said, “We are sure that with the enhanced colour offerings, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 will continue to fulfill all customer expectations, contribute towards a better tomorrow and set new milestones in India."

Hyundai is offering the Ioniq 5 electric SUV with the same specifications and equipment list. The EV continues to come with rear-wheel drive specs and an electric motor that churns out power of 215 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. The motor is mated to a 72.6 kWh battery set that offers a claimed range of up to 631 km.

The electric flagship SUV comes loaded with updated features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, heated and ventilated front seats, auto headlamps and wipers, a central touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, connected car features, and more.
