Hyundai Motor India Limited organized ‘Hyundai Blue Link Championship 2022’ a few days back. Having said that, the result of the championship has been announced. The automaker awarded 60 winners of this championship. This first-of-its-kind initiative basically encouraged customers to inculcate best driving practices using ‘Blue Link’ which is Hyundai’s innovative Connected Car Technology.

The winners of the Blue Link Championship were judged on the basis of certain parameters like over-speeding, distance traveled, smooth driving, and sudden braking & acceleration. Having said that, the brand analyzed the data through the Blue Link system. The driving score of the participant was derived on a scale of 0-100 points.  Furthermore, the winners are selected region-wise on the basis of their scores. The top 3 winners have been awarded gift vouchers. While the top 60 participants with the highest scores have been awarded e-trophies (Gold, Silver & Bronze). Besides this, winning customers were also facilitated at their respective dealers’ workshops.

“At Hyundai, we focus on developing technologies that are intelligent, advanced and future-ready. Hyundai is a pioneer of connected car technology in India and ‘Bluelink’ has become one of the safest and smartest ways for an individual to stay connected ‘on the go’. We will continue to adopt more and more digital initiatives with these innovative and engaging campaigns to lead the industry with thoughtful innovations for increasing customer delight. We hope to add more Bluelink customers in our family, who can be active proponents for road safety in India,” as commented by Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO, HMIL.

Talking about this Blue Link Championship, the brand’s main aim was to analyze the driving behaviour of the participant and provide a driving score. The driving score was recorded on a scale of 0-100. Having said that, the higher the score, the better the driving skills. The main aim of this championship was to encourage the customers while they exhibited safe and efficient driving skills.
