Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has showcased several two-wheeler products at the currently happening Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. The brand has unveiled its first flex-fuel-powered Honda CB300F for Indian buyers. The manufacturer has modified the outgoing CB300F, and it uses Flex technology. The Japanese two-wheeler maker has not made any cosmetic variations to the bike. The launch date for the Honda CB300F has not been confirmed yet.

The CB300F motorcycle is not the first flex-fuel motorcycle by Honda, as the Japanese manufacturer has sold over 7 million flex-fuel-powered bikes in Brazil. The Honda stall at the Bharat Mobility Expo has a host of green lineups, including ADAS-equipped cars, new flex-fuel models, swappable batteries, and hybrid systems.

Powering the flex-fuel model of the CB300F motorcycle is a 293.52 cc single-cylinder engine that now supports fuel, which is ethanol-blended. The engine equipped in the current motorcycle churns out maximum power of 24.13 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 25.6 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The new motorcycle runs on flex-fuel, so the power and torque output could be different. The CB300F will come with the same gearbox, which is a six-speed unit with a slip-and-assist clutch. Since it is a flex-fuel motorcycle, the engine can also run on gasoline with up to 85 percent ethanol.

The motorcycle is somewhat identical to the model that is currently available on the Indian market. The CB300F comes with a digital instrument cluster and LED lighting. For suspension duties, the bike has up-side-down forks in the front and a monoshock at the back.

Honda India has also showcased its battery-swapping station, the Honda e-Swap. The company unveiled its battery-swapping technology that will aid future electric vehicle customers. The automaker is planning to expand its reach to other tier-1 locations in the country in the coming fiscal year. Honda has teamed up with PSUs in the country to develop its stations in tier 1 cities.
