In the Indian market, the Honda Activa limited edition launched today by HMSI. Honda’s best-selling scooter has a new variant called the Activa 6G H-Smart. The Honda Activa Limited Edition will be available in two variants, Standard and Small variants. The price of both variants is INR 80,734 and INR 82,734, respectively (ex-showroom). Buyers can book the Honda Activa Limited Edition at Red Wing dealerships. A 10-year warranty package (7-year optional and 3-year standard) is also offered by Honda.
HMSI has not made any mechanical changes to the scooter. Honda has added a set of alloy wheels in both variants, which will give the riders a comfortable ride as the scooter has tubeless tyres. The Smart variant is also equipped with Smart Key technology. The standard model includes two new color schemes (Pearl Siren Blue and Matte Steel Black Metallic).
The changes also include stripes on the body panels and black chrome elements. The rear grab rail of the Honda Activa comes in a body color dark finish, while the Honda Activa 3D emblem gets a premium black chrome garnish. The Honda Activa is powered by a 109.51 cc, single-cylinder engine that is equipped with fuel injection and is BS6 OBD2 ready.
The Activa H-Smart replaces the physical key with a smart key under its anti-theft measures, which include functions that can be used with the smart key: Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Safe, and Smart Start.
The Honda Activa DLX Limited Edition costs INR 80,734, while the Honda Activa H-Smart Limited Edition costs INR 82,734 (ex-showroom). The Limited Edition model’s DLX and H-Smart variants cost a premium of INR 2,000 and INR 500, respectively, over the regular model.
The Honda Activa Limited Edition will compete directly with TVS Jupiter and the Hero Pleasure Plus.
Introducing Honda’s Limited Edition, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, stated that “Activa has revolutionized the Indian two-wheeler segment and gratified millions of Indians over the last two decades. Maintaining popularity across all age groups, it is India’s most cherished scooter.
