Hero Electric recently announced a 5-year warranty for its lithium-ion electric scooter range. This particular warranty will be available to all the customers who purchase lithium battery-powered scooters between 1 January to 31 March 2021. The warranty covers the complete scooter except for the battery and the charger. Furthermore, it comes with no hidden conditions and no extra cost to the customers. Depending upon the feedback received from the customers during the 3 - month period, the company will decide to make it a regular offering on all its Lithium-Ion battery-powered scooters.
“The comprehensive warranty is a confidence-building measure that will eliminate the uncertainty about the trouble-free usage of Hero bikes as well as improve its resale value. This warranty comes on close heels of introducing much-improved battery chemistry that ensure long life and great performance of Hero electric bikes even in the 50 degrees temperatures of the Rajasthan summers. At Hero, our City Speed bikes offer 'great value for money' and we believe that with this latest offering, a prospective customer would be encouraged to buy an electric scooter over a much costlier, fuel-guzzling bikes that are also high on running costs and repetitive maintenance,” as commented by Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric.
This initiative is basically aimed to accelerate the shifts to EVs. These days climate change is an important issue. The country is today at such a point where it needs to look at a sustainable future that lies in shifting to cleaner modes of transport. Hero Electric is one such company that is committed to making the shift from fossil fuel vehicles. The company has rolled out numerous offers ranging from affordable pricing, to highly customized vehicles which cater to the various needs of retail and business.
