CEAT tyres India has signed Bollywood’s superstar Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador for a period of two years. This will require the actor to be a part of various campaigns across all media platforms. The first campaign will be aired during the IPL 2020 matches. Khan will feature in two commercials during this ongoing IPL 2020. The main agenda behind this is to promote CEAT’s SecureDrive range of premium car tyres.
Talking about the first ad, it will be aired at the beginning of the IPL match. This particular campaign is based on the theme, ‘ Don’t be a dummy ‘. It emphasizes on using high-quality tyres for better safety in all conditions be it driving or weather. This ad will be rolled out on different media platforms on both online and offline.

The campaign is basically set in an advanced tyre testing facility, where test dummies are used for testing. Aamir Khan will play the role of a dummy in the commercial who comes to life when no one is noticing. He manipulates the situation to save himself from the dangers of tyre testing. The basic idea behind this TVC is to show the utmost safety offered by CEAT SecuraDrive tyres under varied driving conditions.
CEAT tyres chose Aamir Khan for this campaign as they believe that the actor symbolizes all the core values of the company- integrity, passion, perfection, and innovation. Apart from this, CEAT’s SecuraDrive tyres are mostly used in premium sedans and compact SUVs such as Honda City, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, etc.
