Bajaj Auto India has officially launched the 2024 Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200 models in the Indian market. The automaker recently unveiled the Pulsar NS models in India. The motorcycles come with more updated features compared to their predecessors. The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is available at a price of INR 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The new NS160 bike is INR 9,000 more expensive than the outgoing version. The 2024 Pulsar NS200, on the other hand, is priced at INR 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom), which is INR 8,000 more expensive than the previous model.

These updated motorcycles feature revamped design elements and a Bluetooth-enabled LCD dashboard. The two-wheeler manufacturer has added a new LED headlight setup to the new NS160 and NS200. The LED headlight setup gets a Bluetooth-enabled LCD dashboard and lightning bolt-shaped DRLs, which are also equipped on bikes like the Pulsar N150 and N160.

The LCD dashboard integrated into the bikes features Bluetooth connectivity. The instrument cluster gets a speedometer, rev counter, and odometer. The cluster displays significant information like average fuel economy, distance to empty, notification alerts, mobile notification alerts, and a gear position indicator. The motorcycles also come with the Bajaj Ride Connect application for Bluetooth connectivity, which enables users to connect their smartphones for features like incoming calls, SMS notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation.

Powering the Pulsar NS160 is a 160-cc, fuel-injected engine that generates 17 bhp of power and a peak torque of 14.6 Nm. The unit is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 draws power from a 199.5-cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 24.13 bhp of power and a peak torque of 18.74 Nm. The unit is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that handles transmission duties.

The 2024 Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar NS160 have USD front forks and a monoshock at the back, whereas braking duties are done by a front and rear disc with ABS. The motorcycles roll on 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in road-biased tyres. The Pulsar NS160 now gives tough competition to bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Hero Xtreme 160R, whereas the NS200 rivals the likes of the Honda Hornet 2.0 and the Apache RTR 200 4V.
