BMW S 1000 RR Teased

2019 BMW S 1000 RR is coming to the Indian market. Yes, you heard it right. It has been confirmed officially as the German automaker has tweeted that it is on its way to India with a teaser image of the superbike. The new generation S 1000 RR made its debut at the 2018 EICMA show and now it is all set to launch in India very soon.

The new BMW S 1000 RR gets drastic changes over its predecessor including new design, features and mechanicals. The superbike now comes with symmetrical twin front headlights, new sporty fairing and overall sharper styling elements. It comes loaded with equipment such as BMW Motorrad ABS pro, digital traction control, hill start control along with four riding modes.

Powering the new generation BMW S 1000 RR is a 999cc, liquid cooled, inline-4 cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 207 BHP at 13,500 RPM and 113 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 RPM. 0-100 km/hr comes up in 3 seconds while the top speed is 299 km/hr. The bike weighs 197 kgs and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 16.5-litres.
