Volkswagen India is celebrating this festive season with the commencement of its annual festive campaign ‘Volksfest 2020’. Furthermore, the company has started this campaign by launching the Red and White Special Editions of the Polo and Vento. These Special Editions are based on the Highline AT trims. The Polo Red & White Edition has been launched at Rs 9.19 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Vento Red & White Edition costs Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
No cosmetic changes or feature additions has been made to these Red & White Special Editions. In terms of design, the VW Vento Red & White Special Edition gets a contrast black roof and ORVMs on a white body. Furthermore, it also gets a ‘Red & White badge’ on the front fender along with subtle body graphics on the door. Talking about the Polo Red & White Special Edition, it gets a red body with a white roof and ORVMs. As for features, these Special Editions continue to offer alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, rear AC vents, voice commands, auto-dimming IRVM among many others.

Under the bonnet, the Special Editions gets the same engine that powers the VW Vento & Polo Highline AT variants. They draw power from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged TSI direct-injection petrol engine. The engine belts out 110 bhp power and 175 Nm torque while being mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The Special Red & White Editions will be offered in Flash Red, Sunset Red, and Candy White colour options depending upon the variants. Apart from introducing the Red & White Special Editions, the Volksfest campaign also comprises of a number of offers for existing customers. These offers include Exchange Benefits, Loyalty Benefits, finance options, attractive offers on service products, assured gifts on test drives, and new purchases.
