The electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to expand its EV charging network in India. Under this new agreement, the EV company will set up fast chargers at HPCL fuel stations across India. The e-bike manufacturer entered into an agreement with HPCL at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024.

As of now, Ultraviolette will set up chargers at HPCL petrol pumps in 12 selected states. The company will not only install its chargers on the National Highways and State Highways, but it will also deploy EV chargers in remote locations across the country to enable easier cross-country electric motorcycle travel.

The Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle provides a certified range of 307 km on one charge, enabling riders to engage in long-distance travel. The e-bike comes in three riding modes: combat, glide, and ballistic. The battery equipped in the bike can be fully charged via a standard charger. In one charge, the motorcycle can go up to 35 km per hour. The F77 features a five-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity. It also gets real-time location, battery statistics, notification alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, crash detection, ride analytics, and more.
